Santa Tecla is a small village by the sea,
located just between Catania and Taormina, only 3 km far from
Acireale, town rich of history, tradition and excellent examples of
baroque architecture.
The territory of Acireale is a pearl embedded in the
black lavic coast, with Etna dominating and characterizing the
unique landscape, culture and local habits.
Timpa, a geological formation on which Acireale
lies and which, descending to the sea builds the natural niche for
the village of Santa Tecla, is protected, since 1999, by the status
of Oriented Natural Reserve, and represents an element of
territorial specificity thanks to the beauty of the Mediterranean
flora, somewhere still inviolate, for its anthropic elements, signs
of history and of the harmony that have, through the centuries, tied
man and the environment, and thanks to the richness and variety of
animals and birds.

by the citrus orchards and by Timpa, wish to spend their holiday in
complete relax, restored by the simplicity and welcoming attitude of
local people, by the beauty of the surroundings and by a perfect
climate all year long and last but not least, enjoying the tastes of
the traditional Sicilian cuisine.
